About Me

Food has been my compass since childhood, when I first stood on a stool at the kitchen counter learning my grandmother’s recipes. When I became a mother, that relationship deepened into obsession—I needed to create the perfect nutritional environment for my child. Ironically, it was during my nutrition studies that I recognized the unhealthy patterns in my own eating. My education became my mirror. Through applying evidence-based practices to my own life, I discovered a balanced relationship with food that brought genuine strength instead of control. This personal journey is what I now bring to my clients—not just knowledge, but lived understanding.

My practice puts you at the center. I want you to have a voice in your treatment—what works for you, what doesn't, where you want to go. I believe your choices matter. Each person who walks through my (virtual) door gets care built around their unique situation, not some one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll find what strengths you already have and build on them. When you're struggling, I'll be there with understanding, not judgment. My goal isn't just to treat symptoms but to help you create the life you want to live.

We'll engage in a relaxed and friendly conversation where we'll explore what a typical day in your life looks like. We'll delve into the ebb and flow of your daily routine, examining how you navigate through your activities from morning until night. As we chat, we'll also discuss how you plan your meals around this routine, considering the timing, the types of meals you prefer, and any challenges you might face along the way. My sessions are all about understanding your lifestyle and meal planning habits in a comfortable and informal setting.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. I have experience in practicing nutrition counseling in the acute care setting, pediatric nutrition for new and expecting mothers, sports nutrition for the collegiate population, and nutrition counseling for older adults in long term care.

My hobbies include reading, writing, photography, travel, long walks by the ocean, and cheering on my son during baseball season.
